Pillar partners with Horizon Data Management
~ Storage specialist signs agreement to expand channel ~

Pillar Data Systems, the data storage specialist, has signed Horizon Data Management as a distributor in the UK. With a channel consisting of systems integrators, service providers, storage specialist VARs and Oracle partners, Horizon offers Pillar an opportunity to expand its business into new markets.

Following its launch in the UK in October 2005, Pillar has grown its UK business over 50 per cent quarter on quarter throughout 2006. On the back of this success, the relationship with Horizon provides Pillar with the capacity to handle growing demand and to exceed its aggressive targets.

Horizon is investing in a team of Pillar specialists to support its channel, with technical as well as sales and marketing skills. In addition, Horizon will provide demonstration, benchmarking and proof-of-concept facilities in both Warrington and Basingstoke.
