The application-aware system automatically applies resources to deliver a Dynamic Performance level appropriate for each data set—resulting in industry-best utilisation rates. |

Coupled with dynamic I/O queuing prioritisation, the Axiom storage system writes data on the section of the physical disk that best supports its performance priority. It writes premium and high priority data to the outermost tracks and lower-priority data on the inner tracks.
